Ø  PFP 777 FIRE-EX is single part, ready to use water based coating.

Ø  PFP 777 FIRE-EX forms a protective char when exposed to flame, when temperature goes above 200°C, it provides an effective fire barrier / shield to substrate by releasing fire suppressant gases & moisture. 

Ø  PFP 777 FIRE-EX can be applied to many types of surfaces providing passive fire protection. 

Ø  PFP 777 FIRE-EX is Suitable for both indoor & outdoor use. Once cured, will not wash off with rain water.

Ø  PFP 777 FIRE-EX prevents fire causing due to short circuit within an electrical cable. It helps in identify the location of such a short circuit by forming a char at that spot.

Ø  PFP 777 FIRE-EX coating prevent flame propagation along vertical and horizontal cable ways.

Ø  PFP 777 FIRE-EX coating can be easily applied by conventional methods such as brush, as well as by hand trowel.

Ø  PFP 777 FIRE-EX can be applied to grouped cables & single cable as well.

Ø  Fire protection: - PFP 777 FIRE-EX coating prevents flame propagation on cables, thus keeping a cable fire localized to its source,

Ø  Chemical compatibility: - PFP 777 FIRE-EX coating is compatible with chemicals and has been found to be unaffected by frequently found in industrial installations such as Diesel, ethylene glycol, fuel oil, lubricating oil, turbine oil and others.

Ø  No de-rating: - Does not affect the capacity of the cables to carry current; therefore, it does not require cables be de-rated; does not attack or harm standard cable jacketing.

Ø  Endurance: - PFP 777 FIRE-EX coating lasts for the lifetime of cable.

Ø  Flexibility: -PFP 777 FIRE-EX coating is highly flexible. Conforms readily to cable shape and maintains flexibility indefinitely, allowing for cable movement or removal.

Ø  Mechanical Resistance: - PFP 777 FIRE-EX coating is tough enough to sustain physical abuse such as walking on coated cable trays.

Ø  Human health compatibility: - PFP 777 FIRE-EX is nontoxic, solvent-free and does not contain asbestos or any other substance identified as being carcinogenic.

Ø  PFP 777 FIRE-EX coating is partially odorless on curing and does not affect the human skin.
